“I had taken a Rabbie’s tour previously and was very satisfied, so I recommended the company to two others and booked again. Rabbie’s tours themselves remain well organized, and the drivers are knowledgeable and friendly. However, this time the accommodations arranged through them were disappointing and, in one case, unacceptable. One B&B room was extremely small, with a bathroom so cramped it was difficult to use, and the shower barely worked. Another B&B was clearly unsanitary, with a stained mattress, visible mold in the bathroom, and generally poor cleanliness. Breakfast there consisted only of cereal and toast while other guests were served cooked meals. Rabbie’s did respond courteously ...”

“Our shore time on the Isle of Lewis was limited to 6.5 hrs (UK immigration checked all 3,000 passengers delaying going ashore by 3 hrs) and without the efficient work of our guide we would have missed some of the highlights of the Island. We got to see everything described in the excursion description plus a couple hidden gems. Overall, very pleased with Hebridean Isle Tours.”

“It's my first time on Isle of Lewis and I don't think visit here is worthy. Lewis is castle is basically empty. There is empty ballroom for hire, empty hall for hire and empty library. The attached museum main purpose is to sell you souvenirs. The standing stones attraction make me think that someone dug stones in the ground to make attraction site. Not a single post how, when and why it was build. Entire walk area - very much like entire island - is swamp like. Also in my two encounter with locals made me prefer I haven'tet them at all.”
